I discovered my passion for design and architecture while living in France in my formative years.
The distinct French style influenced my early work and inspired me to abandon my first career to pursue design full time. While living in the Mid-West, where I received my formal education in design and interiors, I broadened my influences and began to realize that my strength as a designer extended to my ability to envision how families actually lived in their homes. I could see how spaces could be altered and optimized to maximize their use. As I moved across North America with my family, I continued to learn how best to work with architects and builders to get the most from a home. And today, my broad range of influences and experience allows me to collaborate with my clients to find a style that is best for them and their personality. There are many projects I'm proud of (including envisioning, building and selling the most expensive home ever sold in Calgary, Alberta) but what separates me is the way I work - with my clients in the centre of it all. It's never about me, but rather what will make a space for them to be proud of and spend time in. Everything builds out from there. Creating spaces you love, designed with you at the heart of it all is what gets me up in the morning. And keeps me going.
